Catalyst 5Vx is one of the lightest and strongest folding chairs on the market with its NEW 300 lb. standard weight capacity! A heavy duty option is also available.

The Catalyst 5Vx combines the convenience of a folding wheelchair with design features intended to provide a more responsive driving experience. Its cross-brace and frame design are engineered to reduce unwanted movement and improve the transfer of energy during propulsion, while the adjustable axle plate allows the chair’s setup to be fine-tuned.

The Catalyst 5Vx is designed for users who require a lightweight, configurable folding manual wheelchair. Its adjustable centre of gravity, camber options and range of seating and wheel configurations allow the wheelchair to be set up according to the individual user’s requirements and preferred driving characteristics.

The standard Catalyst 5Vx has a maximum user weight of 136.1 kg (300 lb), with a heavy-duty configuration available up to 158.8 kg (350 lb). The appropriate configuration should be selected according to the individual user’s requirements and assessment.
