Active and Independent Mobility

The wheelchairs in the kidevo Family promote active and independent mobility for your child. This includes practical transfer handles to help when transferring your child from their wheelchair to a car, bed, or lounge chair and steering aids, that ensure full control when steering with only one hand making driving and manoeuvring easier.

Extensive Seat Tilt

The kidevo prime.t and kidevo mini.t have an extensive tilt mechanism that works without a gas spring. This not only reduces weight and cuts down on time-consuming repairs but means the wheelchair’s centre of gravity remains unaffected by the extent of the tilting, allowing for constant stability. The tilt mechanism allows for you to shift your child’s weight, reducing the risk of them developing a pressure injury.

kidevo mini

The kidevo mini is the perfect wheelchair for early childhood as it features a seat width and depth from 16 cm. Each wheelchair is tailor-made for the child and grows with them in width, depth, and height. Optimal driving behaviour can be achieved by adjusting the centre of gravity.

kidevo mini.t

The perfect combination, an active wheelchair that tilts in space for children from 12 months old and up. The kidevo mini.t helps with the transition from the passive nature of a buggy to an active and mobile life. The kidevo mini.t is designed so your child can sit comfortably, has excellent support, and is able to discover the world safely. The tilting function is intuitive and easy to operate by foot. As there is no gas pressure spring, the chair weighs less and allows for extensive tilting of 5 degrees to the front and up to 40 degrees to the rear. The centre of gravity of the wheelchair remains unaffected by the tilting, providing excellent stability.

kidevo prime

The kidevo prime is the reliable all-rounder in the kidevo Family. Developed for children from the age of 2 years through to adulthood. The wheelchair has a modular design and can be quickly dismantled into the seating unit, chassis, back unit, and wheels, making it very easy to transport. It is suitable for both active and passive users and the driving behaviour can also be adjusted to suit your child’s level of ctivity further down the line. Each wheelchair is tailor-made for your child and grows with them in width, depth, and height.

kidevo prime.t

At last – a tilting wheelchair that is also designed for active, self-propelling use. The kidevo prime.t is equipped with a practical tilting system that allows for 10 degrees to the front and 50 degrees to the rear. The centre of gravity of the wheelchair does not change during the tilting, providing the necessary stability. The tilt release has a simple design that is extremely easy to operate by foot, and the kidevo prime.t is tailor made to your child and able to grow with them.
