E-Drive

E-Drive is a drive unit that is easily mounted on manual wheelchairs. It is equipped with hub motors of the latest technology.

Drive units can be set for either individual adaptation or caregiver operation and are just as suitable for use indoors as well as outdoors.

How much does E-Drive weigh?

E-Drive weighs 7kg per wheel

In total 16kg with NimH battery and 17kg with Li-ion battery

What is the max user weight allowed for this device?

Max. user weight is 125kg or optional 150kg for Heavy Duty E-Drive.

What wheel sizes are available for E-Drive?

E-Drive is available in 16″, 20″, 22″, 24″, 25″ and 26″

Is E-Drive suitable for all Wheelchairs?

The principle is simple, the Yomper is an electric assistance, it pushes, you ride!

The Yomper+ is intended for all active people or young seniors with a manual wheelchair and with good cognitive abilities.

How long is the charging time?
A normal charging time of 2-3 hours. For refresh charge of the NimH battery the charging time is longer. Please read the user manual for more information about the refresh charging for the NimH battery.
