Delivered over 1 Day (approximately 6.5 contact hours plus breaks), these in-person, interactive session combines lectures, group discussions, hands-on practice, and a case study workshop.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Define the principles of 24-hour postural management and their importance for health, function, and quality of life.
  2. Critically analyse postural presentations across lying and sitting.
  3. Apply structured clinical reasoning frameworks to make evidence-based seating and postural decisions.
  4. Recognise risks associated with poor postural care (e.g., contractures, pressure injuries, respiratory compromise).
  5. Evaluate a range of interventions (off-the-shelf, modular, bespoke, and 3D solutions) to meet individual needs.
  6. Integrate family, carers, and multidisciplinary input into postural management planning.
