Lying forms a foundation for sitting, the two are inextricably linked but where the lying posture goes, the seated posture is sure to follow.
Join Sarah Clayton from Simple Stuff Works on this two-hour webinar as she outlines the patterns of distortion associated with different lying postures. We will also explore ways in which we can communicate the relationship between sitting and lying with those providing hands-on care and support.
During the second part of the session, we will consider the different elements of postural care provision that need to be in place in order to offer an effective service.
Please come, willing to share your experiences, successes (and failures) and we will be sure to learn from one another.
‘How can a person’s seated posture benefit from supported lying?’ takes place on Thursday, 10 June, 1 – 3pm.
Register in advance for this event and after registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
